Hello, I'm Kari Kowalski. My husband and I have

four children. All have now graduated!

Yes, we homeschooled them all.

My degree is in education, and I have a Pennsylvania teaching certificate. I've taught in the public and private schools at the elementary and secondary school levels. When my oldest two graduated (after teaching them K-12), I put my foot back in the classroom as a substitute teacher.

While my teaching certification and grading experience (in grades K-12) qualify me to evaluate your student in the state of Pennsylvania, let me assure you that these do NOT better qualify me to educate my children any more than you. Honestly!

I love encouraging people with the HSLDA publication that cited stats that standardized test scores in homeschooled children whose parents do NOT have a degree in education actually performed BETTER than those that did.

I believe it is parents' LOVE that will drive them to acquire WHATEVER is necessary for children to thrive.
